The Black Album and The White Album share the same anniversary!!! I forgot to post this yesterday - Prince's un-named "Black Album" and The Beatles' un-named "White Album" were both officially released on November 22. Prince's was finally released on November 22 1994, and The Beatles' was released 26 years earlier, on November 22, 1968.
Interestingly, both were intended to have very little fanfare after their masterpieces, Sign "O" The Times and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band respectively. Both wanted very simple covers after the most busy covers either had had. Coincidence or fate? | |
