So Did this copy of purple rain really exsist or was it all just a rumor ?

DigitalLisa	Some say this copy never exsisted, but what's strange to me is I have heard some of these songs, that's why this is questionable ?

I can assure you with 100% certainty, that this double album
version of Purple Rain never existed. Somebody made up this
rumor around '85, and it never seems to die. It's a mixture of
genuine outtakes, b-sides and totally invented titles.

the way I vissioned it is, it would've been a 2 CD- Set like Sign 'O' the times. Some songs would've been featured on the movie, while other songs were just met 4 the LP. Either way it goes .. it is a nice fantasy , 2 think this would actually exsist. There would've been extra pictures 4 the album, extra lyrics 2 read, extra side liner notes... it truly would've been fantastic. I'm just thinking about the tour for this album omg
