I don't think so. I mean, if he was dead, we would have had
some news about whomever has the rights remastering all the vault tracks and planning a showstopping 'Anthology' series of all his outtake and demo material. As it is, he seems very much alive giving hardly any info or music. Meanwhile, we can one again make an 82 song playlist of all his released and unreleased material from 85-87 and pretend they're all top quality remasters. What would the world be without fantasy? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I don't understand the purpose of this thread. Prince died the minute after the last concert of the Japanese leg of the Lovesexy Tour. Even since that date, ghostly remnants of Prince came up with a few brilliant songs, but Prince is dead nonetheless. He's been looking for the Ladder ever since, but ghost friends told me two days ago that he's still in purgatory, trying to find inspiration. Believe me, I've checked. His tomb is next to Morrisson's one at Le Pere Lachaise cemetery here in Paris. He's not dead. He in the basement repairing the foundation and fixing the subfloor. He said something about the plumbing too. I'll ask him when he calls me later.

Prince isn't dead but rather preparing for another 25 years in the music industry. I can fully see him performing the songs he's creating now well into his old age. [This message was edited Wed Nov 19 6:09:23 PST 2003 by marcdeondotcom]

I know it's a little grusome, but imagine when he does die.
I don't know about you, but even though I don't listen to him that much these days, he is still my #1 favourite music artist, and probably always will be. My adolescence was set to his music, and I'm not sure how I will react, I know I will be sad. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm a sucker for a major chord
