PLEASE review and post details on quality of audio and video. ...gotta know about this one. Would also really love to see a DVD of the older First 'The Avenue' gig that was recorded prior to Purple Rain release...wonder if that exists out there...ah well, who knows... | |

i have that "first avenue gig" from 1983.i have it on video,it's realy great.
prince plays guitar on all songs(including i would die 4 u,delirious) excluding (electric intercourse). he did mindblowing version of computer blue,and the very first version of purple rain. from that version they moderated it ,and it ended on purple rain record. original version from that nite had:flanger guitar effect on the intro(prince replaced that part with clean guitar.) there are also additional lyrics,he was smething something like"i wanna take you to the heavy storm". its great concert. | |
