[This message was edited Tue Nov 25 23:49:29 PST 2003 by beautifulone7] [/quote] --- not sure about the first one...but the second pic is from an awards ceremony about 8 or 9 years ago (i think) that had something to do with black music. ashford & simpson also won an award. patti labelle and arsenio hall presented the award to prince. there was a horrible dance tribute to him as well. part of prince's acceptance speech consisted of the "gold" lyrics. one of his best public speeches. it was written on that tablet he's holding in the picture. i wonder if he premiered the lyrics in that moment...if he had been working them out on that tablet and chose to share them. | |
