Anyone seen these clips of various appearances on European shows?

Some of the performances (baby knows and greatest romance) were a bit embarrassing. It was bad enough Prince wearing those robes and having glitter and shit on his face and head but to have the entire band kitted out the same - that was cold

No wonder Mike Scott looked a bit sheepish - he looked like a cross between Buster Douglas and Elton John

There was a French show where Prince sat down and spoke to the hosts, they were talking French and he was acting like he knew what they were saying but answering in English.

Can he understand French or was he told beforehand what they were going to say and just playing along?

In the dutch show he made fun of the host's tie.

i saw him in a club in Paris at the time .he was the most gorgeous i`ve ever seen ...magical ..

He did the Apocalypse Tube show in the UK - I was at the filming in Newcastle.

He mimed to Baby Knows and TGRES, was very relaxed and seemed pretty happy, even though the fans wouldn't leave him alone shouting out questions!!
It was a pretty decent (mimed) performance - a few splits as I recall!

No interview though.

Yeah he starred in Dutch presenter Ivo Niehe's 'Tros TV show', where he did
an interview together with Larry, after which they played TGRES. Can't remember
precisely if it was mimed, I do think so though.

The interview suffered from a frantic crowd taking away much precious
interviewing time and Larry and Prince only wanting to talk about religion
while making bad jokes (dismissing questions from Ivo). On the other hand,
had Ivo dived more into recent Prince, he would have known not to thread
certain paths. My impression is that P was in a good mood, but wanted to
elaborate on the religion theme so badly he made the interview a
bit cringeworthy.

Other than that occasion, I don't have any sources.

Admitting though, Ivo Niehe with his comb-over and silly
questions was no match for Prince.

fuck, I can't control this, I can't edit this now, I
can't stop this".

But they only talked about his boots heheh. I think he
did feel a bit ashamed, sitting there talking about how
time was a trick and all and then these girls come on
and tell people how much Prince liked their boots back
in the day lol.
