The title track and The Same December are great. 
The version of Zannalee that appears on this album is... not so good. 
Right The Wrong is rather amusing.
Had U is amusing if you interprete it as a song about Prince's wedding night with Mayte 
Dinner With Delores (supposedly written about Madonna) and Into The Light/I Will are okay/so-so. 
Dig U Better Dead is just another one of them songs about how badly Prince felt treated by WB. 
I Like It There and I Rock, Therefore I am are awful. No, really. they are.

It COULD have been Prince's last great album if he had released it as it were in '94. But he replaced a lot of tracks with inferior tracks and re-recordings because he didn't want to give WB anything of value. But the ones that didn't get anything of value were - in the end - the fans. FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

By the way, does anyone realise the Brontosaurus never existed? You'll notice it has vanished from history. It was wrongly "diagonosed" and was a fake. Prince obviously never picked up on this, and harped back to his 70s education, when it was still thought to have existed. . |
