Sign O The Times DVD (Spanish) I was at Best Buy the other day and came across a Sign O The Times DVD that had an "IMPORT" sticker on it. All text on the package was in Spanish and the cover photo was a Purple Rain tour photo. Then there was another Purple Rain-era picture on the back. I decided not 2 buy it, thinking it was either fake or poor quality. I hope I did the right thing. Has anybody else seen anything like this? Don't hate me 'cause I'm NOT beautiful | |

I saw it, but I too didn't buy it. I've reversed the polarity of the neutron flow... Now to find a way to exterminate Melody Cool and Rosie Gaines...

I have it.
It's an official release although evidently Prince isn't happy with it. The quality is relatively poor. The picture is kind of dark and the audio has a few glitches in it. I've had it for like a year and only watched it when I first got it. | |

I think you'll find it's the Brazilian version that has got a bit of a slating since it's release. So it would be Portugese on the text. G All orgnotes and emails requesting trades or how to acquire bootleggage will be ignored. - The ThreadKiller - | |

I don't think Prince authorized it, hence why he was asking everyone to send back all of them "unauthorized" releases WB did released. I guess WB had something to do with that SOTT release. I don't see how since the film was released by Univeral in the first place. I don't know the specifics though.
