Poxy quality CD's!

It really pisses me off how shitty the quality is on the earlier CD's - most notably Parade and SOTT. WTF in the digital age should I hanker after my old records?! Christ, the CD's I made from my old vinyl of the 12" mixes and the Family sound better.
