It's funny,I was on the phone with the 1-800 New Funk operator, and I asked him the price. He said "fifty dollars" REALLY fast, and I assumed he said "fifTEEN",so I had my credit card all ready to order...lol...but then, when he added up my total (I was ordering something else too),I said "Wait a minute".I was NOT about to pay $50 for ANY magazine! smile

I bought 10,000 from the NPG shop in London. I think it worked out at about £24.99, but it was during the time when I was most obsessed about P so I bought it happily.

It's utter shite, truth be told. Although I've still kept it in pristine condition, just in case some eccentric millionaire Prince fan decides that they'll pay lots of money for a copy.

I got 10,000 in the Camden Shop sale for £5. I love it, as it doesn't have Prince plastered over the cover.

A much better magazine... THAT I HOPE SEE'S THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN!!!... was The Truth .

Holy shit! This magazine had it all. The graphics and package ... this was truely the most beautiful, visually speaking, magazine that has ever been produced in my opinion. I have the first 2 or 3 issues that came out then... ass up you're what FACE DOWN! The magazine publisher's joined the "group" or whatever they called themselves and poof it was gone. I had heard a few times that this magazine or something like it was to again surface, only this time as an official rag for the then Love4OneAnother camp, which ofcourse is now the club.

I hope you had the chance to see it. Maybe one day I'll post some scans.

Anybody remember this?

I got 1000, too. Bought it in Camden in 1994. I remember it being quite expensive. 24 pounds may be right. It´s not that great. Is it worth anything?

They went up joining the "collective" didn't they.

Abandoning all future issues and leaving subscribers out of pocket.

The production values on the mag were fantastic, I can't imagine they made a profit.

Still, it was way too much psychobabble for a popstar fan-mag, no wonder they wound up in the collective with all the other fruitloops.

Those are actually just song lyrics although they call it a poem by Prince.
