At a PP party after a Lenny Kravitz concert I saw Lenny and Prince play air drums and air bass for almost the entire duration of the song. It was that night that Prince was wearing the red dress and Lenny was wearing boa's so they looked pretty funny
I personally love the song.

I used to listen to it a lot, it goes fucking wild for a wild when Morris "opens the hat up".
Can't say I've listened to it in a while, but I remember when I used to be employed and I would listen to it on the walkman on the bus and I would laugh at the "Alfreeed" parts and get some very strange looks! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm a sucker for a major chord

I listen to it every once in a while - the Crystal Ball discs make good cleaning music, and when I'm tweeked on too much coffee (oops, I mean yerba mate, I'm kicking caffeine) and I'm scouring the bejeezus outta my oven, ol' Cloreen is perfect background music.

Whenever I think of the song, I think "man, I haven't heard that song in forever", and then I immediately listen to "Tricky" (a b-side from The Time) and I know I've pretty much heard Cloreen Baconskin, only a good deal shorter thankfully, and actually a tad funnier.

I love that song, but I probably can't get through the entire thing all the time these days. I listened to it all the time when it first came out...it is my favorite new track on Crystal Ball 2 be sure.

I personally love the song. Prince in drag playing air drums for 15 minutes? Is that real? Very funny. I love this song and often play it before i go out on a friday night... you have to turn it up LOUD.

I personally consider this to be one of the eye openers of the Crystal Ball set.
The liner notes were the best of the entire set. It gave us an insight of how songs come to be. I would have loved to hear the tapes where he stumbled on the lyrics for Irresistible Bitch, as hinted at the liner notes. If he had incorporated it into a set that would show us the working process Prince uses to craft songs I'ld be even happier.
