1st off, THIS SONG is awesome. As always. However RD, I think Tony did some good rappin' in P's other hip- hop, like MY NAME IS PRINCE 4 one! And talking about P's hip-hop I think the song (I 4get which) where they urge P 2 "take the mic" & he replies: "U dont want me on the mic" in this real wavering, embarassed voice. P does rap ok, but he usually breaks it down more slowly than the average rapper & thats fine with me. May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.

I only saw the video ONCE. It was basically the same as the 2nd version of Money Don't Matter. I remember Prince saying something like "watch me do my thang". And then he gets up from the piano and starts doing his thang. Even if I thought this album was weak, Prince was still the muuufuuugggin' man! NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

This song always bring to mind sitting at a bar right on the beach in Jamaica, watching Prince perfoming it before the Super Bowl...two tall, dark-skinned women were working behind the bar, and when Prince appeared, they excitedly said "Prince!...Prince!" in their Jamaican accents...I just smiled and drank a little more of some very smooth beer...and thought about the very real effect Prince has on people of all backgrounds and cultures, no matter where they lived...
