"joy in repetition" - best prince song ever? 've been thinking about it recently... don't think Prince has ever written a better song than "joy in repetition". it's just so magical, the whole song... the statement "loving someone is truly believing there's joy in repetition", the haunting moment where he reveals the words 2 b "love me"... it's all so beautiful. what do u all think about this gem of a song?

Definately one of his best. When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.

that it happens to be so beautiful and then rips into one of his most incredible guitar solos makes it one of my favourite songs by anyone. The version for the second Melbourne soundcheck was better than It Aint Over version, no foolin' (Thanks Joshy) It's the kind of song that can make you love his music more than anybody elses

Not his best song ever, but definitely a great one. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

dunno if it would get in2 my top 20 though ??? No it isn't.The original 'heartbeat version' is even better than the version on Graf Bridge. Top 5 tune literally could be any one of 5 positions from 5 to 1 [This message was edited Sun Nov 9 0:05:06 PST 2003 by YODAHENDRIX] Luminous beings are we...not this crude matter.
Is this 2morrow or just the END of time? The Funk will always b with u "I've got a face, not just my race, Bang Bang I've got you babe!"

Great tune... I think the chord changes are from "What You Won't Do," though. But that's okay.

It's my favorite song from Prince and that's why I chose my org name after this song. It encompasses every type of Prince sound in one song. Also the arrangement of the song is pure genius. __________________________________________________
