the solo in the song itself? I love that song and contemplated writing a thread on it. There is one part of the song almost the middle where you herea womans voice talking and it slowly blends into a mans and then into P's voice. Brilliant! As far as the meaning I think it just followed along the lines of prince loves god ,prince loves sex...accept it !!!! ya know the old prince.. This was Prince prior to the start of the 2nd half of the Lovesexy show in 1988. I think it may have been Rotterdam, but it may have been Hamburg or Dortmund. “If I could just get one person to understand” This was Prince during the second night of the American Lovesexy tour in Minneapolis. Lovesexy is still there in all that he does but sometimes you just have to look that bit harder. It is there for those that want to see! In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine.
