Chocolate Invasion? Why??? Who would want to buy a 7 CD set of songs that have already been released through the NPG Music club? From what I've seen there isn't going to be even one unreleased track on the whole thing. Who would want it? | |

It's simple. If you don't have these tracks or want them on an official release then you might buy this. You won't have to buy a bootleg to get a similar thing, which my guess is the main point of the release. If anybody's selling this music it should be Prince and not the bootleggers. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |

Well said toejam. As I've said many times, as Prince fans we are spoiled. There are some that appreciate what Prince gives to his fans and there are others of the spoiled brat variety who will always find something to moan about. Even though I've been a member of the npgmc for the past two years, unfortunately I missed out on the downloads because my computer is a heap of junk! So I'm very grateful that Prince is releasing 'the chocolate invasion'.

There have been lots and lots of requests for it on the NPGMC boards, I'm looking forward to it, even if most the NPGMC year one music was cringe-worthy drivel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Because there's a clear quality difference between mp3's and uncompressed CD audio. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

If Prince is gonna try and out sell the bootleggers, he needs to release more songs from the vault! This "Chocolate Invasion" release is not gonna do it! I want "Moonbeam Levels" not "Golden Parachute"! | |

I know, it sucks. I guess ppl would buy it for the CD quality tracks(I hope its in). I just don't see a reason to include The War CD since its been available before and of course ONA The Piano CD for the THIRD time??? I wonder if we're gonna get Rave In2 as a "bonus" disc for $10 more! WOW!
