So todays song is tomorrow? Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

I like the interpolation (is that the right word?) of TMBGITW Mustang Mix... and the overall effect of the falsetto vocals. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

I have such affection for this song. I started really listening to it during a crazy time: I was falling in love with one of my best friends; we were co-founders of a direct-action social justice organization. I was so scared of the feelings we were developing for each other, and the group dynamics were getting weird. I could so relate to the lyrics of this song with regard to his fear of letting go and giving in, and also the "other boys [girls] in the band" part.
Well, my fears were well-founded since she became a Christian wacko and broke my heart to pieces, but I still love me some "2morrow"! The Normal Whores Club

It's a sweet song - it never 'grabbed me' like many of his other songs do, but I find myself singing it a lot in my head for hours.
Sweet, gentle, fun. As opposed to sweet genital fun, which is something else entirely.

I think it is one of his classics. The cascading synth lines are as tight as any jazz. Very complex little song with a nice lilt to it. Song really wakes up a deep side of one's spirit. All you others say Hell Yea!!

So true - one of the later Prince releases that proves he lost nothing as a songwriter

Surely there aren't enough days in the year for this to be song of the day?

I really like this song! I actually prefer it to a number of the songs which made the Emancipation project.
