Rumours of Universal buying WB not true so... ...that means the rumours of Prince's albums being remastered and rereleased with extra trax not true either?

Been doing a little digging around and everything seems to point towards WB selling/merging with EMI not Universal. I suppose that doesn't rule out EMI remastering Prince's material like they did with Bowie BUT the deal would not be as straightforward as all being with Universal (who now have a publishing deal with Prince). Have posted several links to related articles below. I don't think anyone was speculating that Universal had bought out Warner Bros Records, just that they have managed to buy Prince's masters back from them. Who knows? Just somewhere in the middle,
