The intriguing thing is that the story (and others, recently) have been published by Popbitch. Popbitch isn't just the gossipy scandal spot that it appears to be. Many of its contributors and readers are members of London's Fashionista within record companies, design houses, television media and print media. The Popbitch newsletter is basically a weekly barometer as to whom is or isn't cool. The fact that they are talking about Prince at all is fantastic. Believe me, a story about Prince running around in a gorilla suit is affectionate tittle-tattle compared to most of their exposés. | |
