I was lucky enough to see the Parade Tour in NYC. I had seen Purple Rain twice in 84/85... and was used to multiple encores (the 2nd time he even previewed "America" in a 3rd encore with the house lights up).

So on Parade, I kept expecting an encore... which never came! I actualy stayed in Madison Square Garden, refusing to leave... thinking he would come back. The guards had to make me leave! (I was young and stupid).

ANyway, I loved that tour. I can't remember if Susannah was at the NYC show or not... I don't think so. I love Jerome but could've done without the other 2 backup dancers.
