why? i know how it sounds by now, i don't need it. if i wanna hear anything pr-related i have bootleggage from that era... first ave. '83 Again this is a case where the boots are king and the official releases are left aside. They could sell anything as boots and people would sitll buy... That's a shame... Byu the way don't be mad if the CD prices rise... You know the why... [This message was edited Thu Nov 6 0:27:05 PST 2003 by klaatu] "Goodness will guide us when love is inside of us... :O
You even moderate your collection at home! And it's not strange. You just have different objectives than most here. I would never get rid of both, even though I hardly listen to them. I use them to transfer songs to my compilation albums. Esp Girl 6 gets used alot that way. Remastered and stuff...

Well,if the rumors are true, you will be able to buy a remastered 'Purple Rain' CD next year,so you probably did the right thing in selling the 'old' copy As for 'Girl 6',I rarely listen to that CD.For the most part,it's really just a compilation of previously released songs anyway, and I prefer to listen to those songs on their regular albums. But you might start missing the song "She Spoke 2 Me",which is great. But I guess you already have that song on a boot, right? ... girl 6 i didn't even listen to anymore, cuz i've got most of the tracks on some of the bootleggs/albums i've gotten over the years (when i first got the album i didn't even have bootleggage). as for pr, i got that cd back when i started gettin into prince and gettin his back catalogue of stuff about 4 years ago. i used to listen to it pretty frequently, but within the past couple years i've listened to it less and less and less. to date, i haven't listened to pr in over 9 months. i decided to sell it as well; it was basically sittin in my cd case, dormant and collectin a nice layer of dust. i feel pretty damned good about gettin rid of it, too. it's not totally out of the picture, cuz i still have the movie. eh, i suppose that's why i gave up the cd...i watched the movie a helluva lot more than i listened to the cd, and i even watch the movie itself in moderation (i have to be in a certain mood in order to watch it anyway). still feels great to be rid of it, tho'. great, congrats
