 Oh yes, to answer U're question, yes it was used.
Funny enough, running at the same time as this ad, Coke's theme was "Always Coca-Cola"  , and that theme had the beat provided by Prince.

Prince received a cool $7 million for that song alone damn. Those were the days for him. If he made that $$ right now I'm sure he wouldn't try to bleed us dry on the npgmc but give away more stuff for free. Anywho, his demo version is one of the greater outtakes and it's very funky.
