where are the guitars gone now this is how i picture prince on stage 
now i was looking on some photos on the web and on here but he doesn' seem to have the big prince symbol guitars, where have they gone

You must know Prince doesn't use onlythe symbol guitar. He plays the symbol guitar, the cloud guitar, a Fhender telecaster, and a electro-acoustic guitar. For example, the Fhender is a guitar he uses since 1980 at least. | |

well time me this, how become i looked at photos of prince on tours since a year and a half ago and i cant seem to find him playing hes sybol guitar? but i have once seen him with the the cloud guitar

He use a variety of guitars as previously stated. the ones he uses the most tend to be the ones he's pictured playing.

He played the symbol guitar for me at his concert in Calgary for a good third of the set back in June 2002. He whips out his cloud guitar in the Aladdin Las Vegas DVD. Whatchoo talkin about?? Just a guess... but usually press people are only allowed to take photographs during the first songs (at least with most big name artists). After that, there's no chance for an official photograph unless he has his own people to do so.
So after all, if he plays the Tele during the first songs (I remember he started some of the sets with Let's Go Crazy - typical Tele song) you get to see this guitar on the published photographs. Wolf | |
