NPG - 'Power Pack'? Okay, I remember the NPGMC usta sell some 2cd set called 'Power Pack' (or it might have been 'Power Pac').
I never bothered and now it's not in the retail section, I find myself thinking "Shit! Should I have bought it?" Should I have bought it? I know 'New Power Soul' was meant to be a disgrace. Words have power, my friend.
Your use of the letters d i s g r a c e is not only ugly, but lacking in grace. Buy it, listen to it with your own ears - don't listen to anyone and don't believe what you read - YOU ARE RIGHT. Even if you think it's shite. pious edit [This message was edited Mon Nov 3 15:22:36 PST 2003 by Number23]

I believe it was a three disc set, which contained Chaka's and Larry's NPG realease, along with Prince's New power soul. Is it a must have?

all three are shit Bollocks - Chaka's record has some good stuff on it, and even GCS2000 has some funky tracks. NPS on the other hand is a load of meandering funk lite shit. Not a worthy successor to GoldNigga or Exodus. This is the crap he should have kept locked in that poxy vault. Horrible. I am The ONe
Come On basically all tracks on NPS are great except for 2 freaks on this side and funky music. So I would get it

Get them, actually I think NPS is one of his most funky ones and on the LG he got near his heights but the one with Chaka is lacking something, maybe it is because she mostly produced the stuff...

The main problem is that *narsty* Emancipation-esque production.
OK so Capt. Dork-face's album would be shit however it was produced, but I wonder what Chaka's CD would have been like had it been produced with the values of TRC? I like Come 2 My House, it's got enough decent tracks on there to warrant repeat listens: Crazy Life Of Mine, Spoon, Hair, I'll Never Be Another Fool and Democrazy - I like all of those. NPS, I prefer it to Rave, in fact, I don't mind it at all, fun little CD. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
