This is her... Mattie Baker was the mother of rock star Prince and was a longtime social worker in the Minneapolis public school system.

Prince's mum would have been absolutely gorgeous when she was young, looking at this photo.

I never knew both his parents had passed away. They would not have been that old I am assuming. Does anyone knew how?

Hmm...I wonder if someone didn't get Mattie mixed up with Bernadette Anderson somewhere along the line here (not the photo, the description). "Longtime social worker in the Minneapolis public school system"...I'm pretty darn sure I read the exact same thing about Bernadette after she passed away recently. But that's what happens when you have two mothers, I guess.

Oh and btw, I don't think P resembles her at all...absolutely not. If anybody resembles her, it's Mavis Staples.
