Live covers

Hi,
Pick a track which u would like to see prince cover in a live setting. It cant be one he's already done. how would u like to see it performed? Alone by the piano with a small string section? With his band? Acoustic guitar? whatever, u decide.

I'd like to see him tear Rage Againts the Machines 'Testify' up at an aftershow. Oh, and give me one sick fucked up guitar solo to go with that please!

Hmmm, lemme see... I'd love to hear prince play 'Aretha Franklins 'Angel' alone at the piano. Oh my, to hear him sing the line "Theres no misery..oh like the misery i feel in me" over those beautiful chords would bring me to tears.

Jamie & The Magic Torch
The Wombles
Thundercats
Trap Door
Rentaghost

(Apologies to any one outside the UK who doesn't know these!)

Too funny!

I'd love him to do Jamie!!

The Flumps would work - his horn section would really do it proud.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

While we are talking fantasy about Prince playing TV themes...

Is it just me, or do other UK orgers get weird "Cheggers Plays Pop" flashbacks when listening to Whole Lotta Love?

She's Gone - Hall and Oates just a piano version I know he would kill it!
I would like to hear him do Someone Like You by Van Morrison also but with a lot of strings and subtle sweet piano playing. This is like musical masturbation for me! I'm getting excited just thinking about it.
I'm an org elitist... totally unapproachable.

I always wanted him to do 'stop, look, listen to your heart' as a duet with Mayte. Such a beautiful song (originally done by Marvin gaye and Dianna ross)
