well i dunno...i liked it. see i see it all as a representation of Prince's age. i dunno how old he was then but i guess he was getting on a bit (mid 30s) and he wanted to still keep up with the hit makers plus he was still in that major label mentality.
D+P is cool, yes, better than Rave and NPS, but it's not all that bad. Insatiable is on it and so is Live 4 Love. shucks, hello Gett Off?...even Thunder is a great Prince solo track. | |

It has many standout tracks on it, and I don't dislike any of the tracks, even tracks with heavy Tony M. D&P also has a certain original sound not found anywhere else in Prince's catalog.
