One Nite Alone... Tokyo DVDs

I know there are bootleg DVDs from the shows on the 15th & 19th November last year. Can someone let me know the quality/highlights/general info about them? Thanks

Anxiety

They sound pretty good (thank you to yaknowwhoyezare for blessing me with the experience of hearing these discs, by the way)...I can hear elements of the Vegas performance in this show that weren't apparant to me when I saw ONA in Chicago...it's interesting to hear how the ONA live set evolved throughout the tour, especially listening to this show.

Also, interestingly enough, if you were in Tokyo and wanted to get your Purple Rain on, you woulda been in the right place...wink

he also played Purple Rain in Manchester.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

That was actually the first time he played it on the ONA tour if I'm not absolutely mistaken.

You are mistaken...he played it in NYC 4/9/02. Don't think that was the first time either...

It's an AMAZING DVD, I highly recommend it. It's what I hoped the Vegas show would have been.

Actually Purple Rain was performed (many many times) on the ONA tour starting in the USA March 2002. Nothing special about it being played...Only the Aussie aftershow version is unique - coz it was at an aftershow.
