Judging by all the concern shown in posts here wishing Prince well, I'm pleased to report that NPGMC's PP9 has confirmed that Prince is fit and healthy and is in negotiations in LA and New York to continue his world tour.

It appears that the newspaper report claiming Prince cancelled shows due to illness was untrue.

I don't think we're all meant to bow down, but personally I like the guy (Prince, or whatever little I know of him) and hope he's well as can be! I just don't grasp this 'loving his music but don't give a fuck about the person' way of thinking.

I was refering to all the concern shown here on the org, when it was announced that Prince had cancelled shows after falling ill.

I was implying that perhaps we should appreciate what Prince does share with us and that we should value that.

If you do not share this perspective, then fair enough.

I apologise for not following the trend in adopting an overtly cynical and bitter tone.
