Prince & The Colour Purple Hey P-people,
Okay, this is probably something I 'should' know but to be honest I don't have a clue. Can somebody explain to me Prince's fascination & connection to the colour Purple? ...he likes to wear the colour purple and of course has made numerous references to purple in his songs - but I gotta be honest and ask 'why'? My only thought was that purple was once known as a regal colour only worn by royalty - so maybe he thought purple tied in with his name?? That was just a guess... Please help! Cheers, Simon | |

Purple also means power...That is why it is my favorite color also (I just love the whole concept of power)..I don't blame Prince for liking the color Purple, It isn't a male or female's color like they say pink is a girl's color, A guy can like Purple if he wants..
