Aussie tourgoers: Has N.E.W.S taken on new meaning 4 U? While we were all in our seats waitin 4 the concert 2 start, they were playing N.E.W.S on loop, and  think some of us heard the whole album a good three times. now refer 2 it as "W.A.I.T.I.N.G", and it's now filled with a whole other feeling 4 me - think of anticpation, of Prince fever, that little nervous excited feeling. It's a much more interesting listen now, like a souvenir of the concert (actually the first concert 've ever been 2).

Yes Yes Yes!! Got in the car to go to work this morning, switched on the CD and it was like taking my plus sign for the day! Heart rate went up!
Still not quite the same effect as playing Andreas Vollenweider though which was the Lovesexy w.a.i.t.i.n.g. music!! In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream | |

Yes! How cool is "Behind The Gardens, Behind The Wall, Under the Tree"! I play this CD all the time. I had it on in the car as my pre-cursor to the Brisbane show on Monday. Get "Book Of Roses" - That CD is a trip! Think "Around The World In A Day" & "Parade" mixed with "N.E.W.S."

Mr Squiggle, I know exactly what you mean! I listened to N.E.W.S. this morning for the first time since the concert, and it had a completely different feel.
It's now so ALIVE and CHARGED - and this from a person that absolutely loved it the first time I heard it! In raptures still... honestly. | |
