when he says 'gimme a page on my two way. i'll hit ya back with no delay'?

i am sooo not technologically savvy so i'm missing this. what is a two way. i'm assuming its a pager of some sort but what's the difference between a 'two way' and a plain ol' pager?

You do know what text messaging is though, right??

On a 2-way you can text back and forth...kind of like portable IM. A pager you just get paged and call 'em back.

What's a pager?

the idea was, that then you could them ring back from
a payphone

i'm sure they still exist, but for obvious reasons
they're now outmoded
