I always thought that "JIR" should have made it on to "SOTT". If you could take 1 song off of "SOTT" and add "JIR", what song would it be and where would you incert the song at?

man that would make that my favourite album even more. i think i would just add that to the album cuz SOTT is just too darn perfect for me.

I'd take off "It" and replace it w/ JIR.

Great Idea.

SOTT is my favourite album, but to make it even better, I would remove "IT", and replaced it with the original, slow built up Joy, and swapped "Its Gonna Be a Beautiful Night" with "Crystal Ball".

I love both Play in the Sunshine and U Got the Look. Especially the former. However, if you were to replace a song with Joy in Repetition, it would make the most sense to place it in the position of U Got the Look. That would make a great way to start the second half of the album, and really fits perfectly there and compliments Forever in my Life before it and If I Was Your Girlfriend after it.

Personally, I would like to see the topic renamed:

I think "Joy in Repetition" is overrated, myself.

Didn't he actually write JIR around 1987 and never came around to release it until 1990? Something i read...
