Rave IN2 the Joy Fantastic is EXCELLENT I just got the in the mail NOT A WEEK AFTER I PURCHASED IT and I live in Australia, too! Whoever said the NPGMC were slow at sending stuff?
Anyway, I'm listening to it and so far, I must say EVERY track is an improvement!!! THIS is the album that should have been delivered to Arista! It's THAT much better than Rave UN2... Even the tracks that haven't been redone have been remixed...the production on So Far So Pleased, for example is greatly improved...NO DISTORTED, OVERLY COMPRESSED SOUND! This one's a winner and should be bought by all fans! | |

I liked Rave Un2, as well...but this one has a lot better production...Rave Un2 had a compressed quality to some songs which I think sounded a bit crappy in comparison the the crystal quality of this one I'm listening to right now...Rave In2. :wOOt: | |

I just got done listening to Prettyman, the final track - again this version is waaay better even though there is only about a minute more added. Why am I laughing? Because at the end, there is the sound of a mirror breaking! Prince has a sense of humility after all! What a legend! | |

I always wanted this becuase while I liked "Rave Un2..." it had issues and figured maybe "Rave In2.." was better. I just see one copy on Ebay...about $42 and that is just the opening bid! Damn Prince! | |

Rave IN2 completely resuscitated my DOA (non)appreciation of all things Rave...I wasn't sold on Rave Un2 at all, but when I heard IN2 for the first time this summer, it was like I'd been blown into an alternate universe where boring Prince albums had somehow magically become cool. I completely recommend this one! (and hell, they quoted me in NPG Retail, so I BETTA like it...) | |
