Prince on UK BBC Radio 1 Somebody told me that Sara Cox played a new Prince song on BBC Radio 1 this morning. Did anybody hear it? What was the song? | |

For my sins I do usually listen to The Radio 1 Breakfast show on the way to work but this morning did not. I was listening to Andre3000's The Love Below instead. I doubt it but you never know. Just somewhere in the middle,

I just emailed Sara asking about it. I'll let you know if I get any reply...and post it here. Could be Musicology? If so I would recommend keeping your eyes on MTV etc.. | |

IT WAS CREAM, she played it as part of her 'big ones' classics hour.
Afer that show Joe Whiley was on and interviewed someone in Oz about the rugby, he mentioned that he went to the prince concert (unsure which one) which was AMAZING. He said that he heard rumours that prince made every single one of his tour crew sign a contract that if anyone looked him in the eyes they would be instantly sacked! Sounds like him!!! | |

somebody ? “Somebody” was my brother who, to be fair, does know his Prince music. He told me that Sara Cox played Outkast and then said that she was going to play a new Prince song later. Oh well, it looks like I was misinformed. Sorry guys. | |
