That new Kelis song, "Milkshake" sounds familiar, don't it? Think about it. The beat is very reminiscent of the Sign O' the Time's/Lovesexy. And it doesn't matter if the Neptunes put their stamp on it (I think . Did they produce that?), it's still nothing new. When I first heard that track, Lovesexy instantly popped in my head. Who's with me on this? NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

It reminded me of "Nasty Girl" a kind of part 2 to the other Neptunes' production, "Slave 4 U." "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

They are starting to repeat themselves, and how long have they been out?

They are starting to repeat themselves, and how long have they been out? Yes, this is why I am not impressed with the Neptunes--they haven't had a new idea since they produced Kelis's first album. sounds like a similar use of toms like in "when doves cry" or "Darling Niki" or "forever in my life" mixed with the finger cymbals like you hear on "Around the World in a Day" or "Tambourine" My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

Maybe they're just using that "familiar" sound to parlay Kelis into the Britney status?? Look where it took her. =c)
