About Money don't matter 2night Vanity has told me Prince didn't composed at all that song, it was written by Rosie Gaines.
Is it true? Music and lyrics? In the album, the same way he did with the Revolution and the NPG, we can read "... composed and performed by Prince and the New Power Generation". Using that, he didn't lie. But, it's a little disappointment, do you know more songs Prince hasn't composed but we all believe he is the author?

I got this info on "Money don't matter" from a Rosie interview quoted in the book "Purple Reign:The artist formerly known as Prince". She said that Prince wanted to include more 'party songs' like "Horny Pony" and "Rock 2 the Flow" on the album, but Rosie said "There's gotta be more to R&B than partying" and proposed said song.
I also believe that Levi Seacer jr. had critical influence on almost every song on D&P. [This message was edited Sat Oct 25 7:39:37 PDT 2003 by vanitysix]

NPG member? well hopefully rosie only put that song in cos if she suggested jughead etc then thats just wrong! one funnything though is that rosie gaines wrote that one greatsong, but why hasnt she had a career of her own sort of thing?
