Wow, when I hear live "The Everlasting Now" I think it's one of the best Prince funky songs, I love the guitar work, the hornz, the piano, the structure... But when I put TRC, I don't feel the same: to my mind, the studio version is worst.
I mean, the first time I listened TRC I liked the song (maybe it wasn't my fav), but since I have ONE live and LV DVD, I prefer the live version. For example, the guitar line is new and better, the hornz solos are excelent, Prince is stronger, and on the other hand the studio version is maybe too long and repetitive (the live version is long, but all the parts are different and sound cool).

Do you have my same problem?

I 2 prefer the song live. Particularly the Santana-like guitar solo.

i like the live version better, but I wish he'd use more of the lyrics when he performs it live.
