Questions.... So I have 2 questions for you guys...
1) These songs he's playing down under "Hot Pants" and "Life of the party"... are they covers or new songs? 2) At the celebration 2002 he played this acoustic song generally referred to as "Telemarketer Blues" Is this the official title or just a figment of a bootleggers imagination? Anyone? Boris?

Anyone? Boris? Concerning your first question; I've heard the first song is a James Brown jam (I'm not familiar with his work, so I could be mistaken...), the latter is said to be a new song. So this adds to my list for the 'new album' Musicology Reflection U Want Me Life O' the Party We'll know soon enough I hope (Where is love2thenines2003 when you need him?...) 555-4444 you're on coffee talk.

I've not seen any verification that this is the official title. Uptown referred to it originally as 'Some people Call Me Crazy / Guitar Playin' Man (Jam)' It was first played on June 24th (although it has been performed since). It could be that the title has been seen in his songbook or on a setlist, although this is by no means an accurate guide because 'U Want Me' was entitled 'U And Me' in both the songbook and a setlist last year. (Strangely, and quite probably coincidentally, a song entitled 'Telemarket Blues' was registered with the Library of Congress on June 27, 2002, but not in a name ever known to have been adopted by Prince) ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. Without wishing to jack this thread (which is why, for the most part I've responded to the questions raised, I've specifically sought clarification later on this forum as to whether 'The Life Of The Party' is a Jackson 5 cover.
