No. The high point of his creativity is long past. His glory days are over and has been so for so long that I am amazed that there are still people out there who actually believes he might yet make another great record. Good, maybe. But great? shake Uh-uh! biggrin

I dont think that one can make that assessment unless he has heard the entire archive...have you ? I heard a cut, "Jukebox with a heartbeat"..tight, tight jam..unreleased..I'm not going to count Prince out..I wont be sooo, well..nevermind...pray And i know u r not..just saying we have heard his best..well i cant agree..one never knows the future jedi young Jedi

Not really. "Emancipation" was an "honest" album, but it sucked. TRC is cool but P is past his creative heighth...that's why he needs a new, young, competent producer!

Aah, but even if he did have some great material in his archive, it was made when he was at his creative peak - not now where it has passed. biggrin

I wouldn't mind if he released some of that. I'm sure it would beat whatever he's doing now. nod

True, true...the fact that he has not been able to adjust to the music sound of today may be an indication that he has reached his peak...I don't know.well why are the Rolling Stones able to sell out stadiums and capture the youth and Prince can't hmmm should I start another thread ?
