ok, so i'm watching this ridiculous interview from 1995 in which prince wears a mask and has mayte answer the questions...after he whispers them to her, of course. this is absurd!

it is kind of interesting, however, to hear him...er, mayte...say that in 1999, when prince is free, he will release the music directly to the fans and maybe even give it away if he wants.

Yah, I saw clips from this interview on that "Prince's Millions" BBC special...I thought it was a particularly silly bout of performance art, but at least he was being insane kinda on-purpose back then...
