it sounded like a standard dunlop in Melb. last night, although I have heard Vox wahs that sound similar...

we're talking WHAMMY, not wah.

whammy is a pitch-shifter...wah is a tone alternator.

I'm pretty sure he uses the Classic Red Digitech Whammy... not the crappy 2nd edition they had out before re-issuing the original. If you listen to the last note of the guitar solo in "Dolphin", that is definately a Whammy bend. It's also on a lot of the newer stuff.
