Though I have been one of the naysayers/commonsense people of late, I have to show much love for the It ainn't Over CD. What a CD! No one else can really do this like Prince. Its his most interesting, most engaging and most energetic CD since Lovesexy. Blow the rest!

I loved Joy in Rep, didn't care too much for the other tracks though. He killed Peach. ONE Live discs 1 + 2 were great though!

It is a kicking CD. Just started to really get into it.

You have not seen the television adverts in the UK for Wilknson razors for men, which have 4 blades? It was not a threat, you talk about Lilt and the beat a man get get naturally and logically took me to this advert. You, how oyu say, have a had a belief that is true only to your opinion. He had so many to pick from:

"Paisley Park" -blistering at the us tour and Celebration
"Calhoun Sq." -kick ass joint
"Beautiful Strange" -long, admitting, but intoxicating
"Dolphin" -the newly arranged version is sooo beautiful
"ICNTTPOYM"- OMG, the 'new' version is just brilliant!!!
"Bambi" -played at virtually every aftershow but not here?
"The ? Of U" -the list just goes on and on

I understand his need to put some jams on there to give it
a real aftershow feel, but these jams are just repetitive
and boring in places. The guest appearences are pretty bad.
I can't even remember the one guy's name and George sounds
like he's coughing up a furr ball.

Luckily Renato [not Prince] saves the day with the hell of
a solo during Dorothy Parker. Damn, such cool keys!!

Peach doesn't sound 1/3 as entertaining as the one played
at the celebration. The one that started out with the cool
wind effects and had these "tu-tu-du" signatures splashed
through it. The solo's were blistering. "Turn me up Scotty"



You are right tho, it IS a nice disc, it's just a let down
when you heard other shows and realise this ONA package
could have been something outerspace but is instead just a
nice album.
