yeah, it was really hot!
we camped out overnight and got to the stadium at 8.00am in the morning.
we managed to get right at the front and experienced something special.
he was on fire that night.

My favorite Prince concert was one that he had for FREE!

I think it was at Glam Slam in Minneapolis.

I snuck in the back door. Prince tried to make me pay, offered me a deal deal and wanted me to sign a contract saying I would not steal his music. I told him I was sick of paying top dollar for a lame ass show. He told me he would play his old stuff, but it would be reworked to sound bette. I scoffed knowing he would probably make it sound worse.

So I sat and watched the show as Prince and fellow brainwashed fans snooted thier nose up at me. I knew that I was the only one there who did not pay. But I walked out, satisfied knowing that the show was half ass, and I did not pay a dollar. Thanks for the ride Prince.

BTW I recorded the show as well and made it free for others to hear.

I'd have to say Lovesexy, 1988. There's nothing like seeing one of your heroes in person for the first time, actually performing the songs you memorized hundreds of times over for years, especially after dying to see the SOTT and Parade tours that never moved through America at large.

It's coming up on 15 years since that night. And what a great one!

I'd have 2 say Act II at the Sheffield Arena, UK in 1993. It was my 1st Prince show after all and he basically played everything I could possibly want 2 here after just getting in2 Prince at the time.
