I'm more worried about the flight attendants that have to deal with puttin' his scooter in the overhead bins.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

He could always sit down in cargo to keep an eye on it (and other bargains he picked up shopping in HK)
I am worried about him at all times, but as soon as he sets foot here I know he will be safe, Melbourne has world's best tap water:-)

Do you ever find yourself concerned about our home boy, when he travels abroad, like over to Europe, Asia and Australia?

I do a bit, considering our much loved genius is flying a lot during these shows.

I'm proud of him actually. He represents us abroad and I'm glad the world gets to see our boy show what freedom is. Especially in China... Lord knows they need it... thumbs up!

Not sure what the odds are but if he flies in big commercial jets his chances of crashing are very low.
He should probably stay out of smaller aircraft. It seems all the famous people who die in plane crashes were in smaller planes.

Worry about Prince? Hell naw. I got kids! Can I get a witness?

I doubt that he looks at himself as a representative of the American way of life, as you have discribed it, July. He is more about showing off his music, and since this is a greatest hit tour, it damn sure smells like a money making tour. Please dont abuse the brotha for your political garbage, okay?

i don't think july addressed this thread the way you think he did, soulpower. whenever someone mentions a country it ain't always politically motivated, believe it or not. now please stay on-topic...

This time I dont agree with you, Dansa. He clearly said:

"He represents us abroad and I'm glad the world gets to see our boy show what freedom is. Especially in China... Lord knows they need it"

If that -- and the fact that his question was directed to American fans only (why shouldnt non-Americans worry about Princes well-being?) isnt a clear signal for the political content of his post, then I dont know how he could become more clear.

So my answer to him was on topic -- or shall I remain silent because I am not Americam? wink

Well, Prince does represent America... He was born in the US. He lives in the US. He pays taxes in the US. He is a Citizen of the US. He plays traditional American music Rock, Soul, Funk, R&B and Jazz and showcases it to the rest of the world. I have traveled abroad and one of the main things I noticed was you are a representative of where you are from. That is a fact. In all the media coverage of Prince from overseas It has always been stated He is an American Artist. Prince knows the deal. He's from Minneapolis, Minnesota after all. They would not even let him get married in Paris because of the fact he was a US Citizen. So he came home. As soon as Prince steps foot out of the US He is known as an American Artist. He represents that where ever he goes as do all Americans where ever they go... guitar

This is really a stupid question. You sound like an American who's never left the US. Is it the constant flying you're worried about or the fact that he's on "foriegn soil"?

I think about it sometimes. But mostly because I fly myself a lot, my family does also, so I always have that in the back of my mind. Plus, I had more than one dream that Prince died in a plane crash, so yeah, I think about it sometimes.

YES, I do sometimes. BUT NOT just bcuz he's on a tour, doing lots of jetting etc. They say accidents mostly happen near home. So something could befall any one of us, anytime, however prince USUALLY is surrounded by his "big" body guards, NOT only 2 protect him from ppl, but if something happened 2 him healthwise, they'd usually be right there 2 summon help quickly.
May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love. hug kisses
