I love this cd too. Every song is amazing, BUT I still hate all the religious mumbo-junbo and I don't like the nasty voice, but the music kicks ass!!

well, TRC is one of my favorite prince albums. and it
must be one of the few albums of which i almost love EVERY song. and all songs flow almost perfectly into oneanother. and from that perspective i see where your coming from. 'parade' and 'sign o' the times' have given us prince's most innovative and craziest music. therefor, TRC can not touch these albums. but as a whole these albums have quite a few flaws, where TRC has little to no flaws. but that's just my opinion. don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine
purple music does the same to my brain i'm high, so high

Just reading through this thread, the most striking thing to me is how many years behind Daned seems to be and just how little knowledge is displayed. Its amazing that Daned feels compelled to comment on TRC and its message without know or understanding it. Curious. ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...

Although I love the Rainbow Children album to me it's not even close to these other 3 albums. All three of the albums you mentioned are STILL ahead of their time and for me some of the most interesting work he's ever done.
