Prince's last albums that I thought were really amazing were Come, The Gold Experience and Chaos And Disorder from 93'-'94, but they weren't released. 
Sure, we got some albums with the same titles, but the content had been changed and the released albums were too far removed from what grabbed me about the original configurations. The last actually released thing to really amaze me was The Undertaker - which only got released on video, so... "Come" is IMO the last truly great PRINCE album, it was also the last time he got real trashy/freaky/funky/nasty on a record...
"Lovesexy" marked the downfall of Prince and ironically enough it also marked the birth of "The New Power Generation"... Neversin. O(+>NIИ<+)O

i've enjoyed moments since, but can't say there's been a TRULY AMAZING album since. it's a big accolade to give. Agree 100%. Batman also does it for me! Funky as hell with the obvious exceptionally embarrassing Arms of Orion. TRC and TGE (if it catches me on a good day) are the only releases that come close since. Oh...and The Vault, if that can be counted. --------------------------------------------------

Lovesexy.
The other ones after that, like Batman, GB, skip Diamonds, the Love Symbol, Gold, Come, Rave have all had moments, but as a complete full masterpiece, Lovesexy. The Rainbow Children doesnt do it for me anymore. To religiousy. Nice with the different musical direction, but nothing that sparks. | |

last full album that I was really impressed with (and therefore amazing) was . Work since then has definitely had its moments for me, but nothing I would class as amazing on an album-level.
