Can somebody please inform me WHY Mr Hayes wears a headset mic in the video, and sings into a micropone stationed at his keyboards as well? He'd be getting some serious feedback if that was a live performace, yo.

He used headset mike for triggering vox samples through 1994 - 1996 and regular mike for backup vox.
Using multiple mikes would not cause any feedback.

Well, I don't think he's singing, he's just acting like he's singing even though he did no vocals for that song. He does that with all his videos, makes his back up band mouth the lyrics during the video. Check out Holy River and see Rhonda and Kat lipsyncing the song, even though you know Prince is the one doing all the vocals. Its a trip!!
