I think The Chocolate Invasion is more targeted for ppl who are gonna join the club during or after the world greatest hits tour.

Its actually a good bit of business sense from Prince.

I reckon there will be a lot of new members after the tour that will buy this release.

I think it would be a pretty good marketing tool if he released this in stores at a competitive price, especially if he planned on offering similar amounts of music next year via NPGMC, via download or mail.

But I can't help but feel that some of us are thinking "why bother with another year's membership if he's just gonna release it all in an anthology eventually anyway?"

I dunno. All a matter of perspective, I guess.
