It will be none of both. I expect a decent album, but unfortunatly nothing spectacular or innovative.

But on the other hand we all may be surprised. I remember how I dreaded the release of "Rainbow Children" back then because there was a lot of talk about the horrible lyrics in the weeks prior to it´s release. Then I listened to it and I was blown away. It restored my faith in Princes musical ability, so let´s just wait an see.

How can you judge about something you don't know?
About what you have heard about it? From people trying to describe music with words? From people that may have a different taste of music? From people that have heard from other people, that know somebody who has heard a snippet of the first so-called single release???

I think Prince should release everything like he did with Xpectation - On very short notice.
