And yeah, Karl Perazzo and Stef Burns were in Sheila E's bands back then! See the videos! Karl plays with Santana. Hope he brings those crazy drum setups! See the ROmance 1600 live video, Karl kicks some serious percussion butt people!

There is another member of her band, the keyboard guy, he's really Funky, he's always set up his keyboard in an ergonomic slant like a keytar...he plays on that one morning show...forget! Sheesh, but Sheila brother is the band leader and that one dude adds a Funkiness to every number, he's bad too!

Roy Bennett was Prince's lighting director for many tours (1980s and 90s). He WAS married to Brenda Bennett (1/3 of Apollonia/Vanity 6 along with Susan Moonsie) but they have been divorced and out of contact for seveal years. He has been touring with several other huge concert tours over he last few years so he has gotten huge success after Prince.

Also, don't count on an Apollonia 6 song or reunion being done at the show. There has been no talk of any sort of reunion, nor is any planned (and I can pretty much guarentee that there won't be any appearance by Apollonia and Vanity on stage at the same time. Odds are, with all the guests showing up, Apples is going to be singing backup or dancing during the show. Vanity hasn't been mentioned as participating and it is doubtful she will.

Especially when she's no longer "Vanity".

Any news on Matt, Cat, Andre, Dez & the Rivkins?

Matt confirmed to me that he was involved. Dez's people told me that he would be honored but there is nothing concrete yet. The entire Revolution is involved (at least the 1984 Revolution, not the 86 version).
